Recruitment at Indian Post for Karnataka Postal Circle July 2014

Karnataka Postal Circle called applications under Sports Quota for various post given below.

Important Dates:-

1. Last date for apply 28-July-14

Name and No. of Posts:- Total 14 posts

1. Postal / Sorting Assistant in Post Office or Railway Mail Offices
2. Postman in Post Office
3. MTS in Post Office or Railway Mail Office

Qualification:-

1. Postal / Sorting Assistant in Post Office or Railway Mail Offices - 12th Pass
2. Postman in Post Office - Matriculation
3. MTS in Post Office or Railway Mail Office - Matriculation

Age Limit:- Candidate age should be 188 to 27 in Indian post office specially for Karnataka Postal Circle.

Probation and Training:- 
Candidate will go on probation period as gov. rules
Training:- The training will be imparted to the selected candidate as prescribed.

Pay Scale:-

1. Postal / Sorting Assistant in Post Office or Railway Mail Offices - 5200-20200 + GP of Rs 2400/-
2. Postman in Post Office - 5200-20200 + GP of Rs 2000/-
3. MTS in Post Office or Railway Mail Office - 5200-20200 + GP of Rs 1800/-

Exam Fee:-

1. Exam Fee is 100/- only should be paid in any post office in Karnataka Circle and submit original receipt along with application.
2. If candidate living in outstation the he/she has to pay Rs. 100/-  in favour of Chief Post Master General Karnataka Circle, Bangalore - 560001
3. Those candidate who will called for selection/field trials will have to pay an examination fee of Rs. 400/- and No Fee for SC/ST/Women Candidate

Method of Selection:-
Selection of applicants will be made by education and sports qualification and secured marks in field trials subject to fulfilment of other prescribed conditions

Candidate should come at exam Centre along with list of certificates of Photo Copies:-

1. Proof in respect of Sports Qualification
2. Proof of Date of Birth
3. Caste certificate for SC/ST and OBC(Non-Creamy Layer )
4. 2 Latest passport size photo
5. The application have to enclose a self addressed, size 9"*4 dully affixing a postal stamp of Rs 17/- for local and Rs 40/- for outstation candidate along with the application for despatching the hall permits for selection units

General Instructions:-

1. Please enclose application form in envelope and write on the top of Envelope in Bold Letters "Application for the post of Postal / Sorting Assistant, Postman, MTS in Karnataka Postal Circle Under Sports Quota".
2. No TA/DA will give to candidates for attending Exam or Interview.
