Advertisement for the posts of coordinators for state disaster management authority.

This is totally Contract Basis Job.

Qualification:- Proficiency in computer working and web applications.

1. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Capacity Building, Training and Awareness Generation) = Masters Degree in Social Sciences/ Rural Development/ Public Administration/ Disaster Management from a recognized University.
2. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Logistics Management) = Master Degree in Social Sciences/ Logistics Management/ MBA from a recognized University. 
3. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Planning & Mitigation) = Master Degree in Social Sciences/ Public Administration /Disaster Management from a recognized University.
4. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Operations)  = Master Degree in Social Sciences/Public Administration/Disaster Management from a recognized University. 

Experience:-

1. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Capacity Building, Training and Awareness Generation) = At least Ten Years experience in the development/social sector having relevance to disaster management training.
2. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Logistics Management) = At least Ten years Experience in the development/logistics/ social sector having relevance to disaster management. 
3. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Planning & Mitigation) = At least Ten years experience in the development/social sector having relevance to disaster management. 
4. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Operations)  = At least Ten years experience in the Administration/Disaster Management from a recognized University and Ten years experience in the development/social sector having relevance to disaster management. 

Age Limit:-

1. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Capacity Building, Training and Awareness Generation) = Upper age limit 55 years as on 1.1.2014 (5 years relaxation for retired Govt.. officials/ Ex- servicemen. 
2. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Logistics Management) = Upper age limit 55 years as on 1.1.2014 (5 years relaxation for retired Govt. officials/ Ex-servicemen.) 
3. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Planning & Mitigation) = Upper age limit 55 years as on 1.1.2014.(5 years relaxation for retired Govt. officials/Ex-servicemen.) 
4. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Operations)  = Upper age limit 55 years as on 1.1.2014.(5 years relaxation for retired Govt. officials/Ex-servicemen.) 

Selection Process: Interview

Pay Scale:-

1. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Capacity Building, Training and Awareness Generation)  = Rs. 50,000 per month.
2. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Logistics Management)  = Rs. 50,000 per month.
3. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Planning & Mitigation)  = Rs. 50,000 per month.
4. Coordinator, Disaster Management (Operations)  = Rs. 50,000 per month.

About Department of Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management

The Department of Revenue, Rehabilitation & Disaster Management is headed by the monetary Commissioner Revenue, who is additionally the Secretary to Govt. punjab in respect of Revenue department. For carrying on the work of Department of Revenue, Rehabilitation & Disaster Management, the State of punjab has been divided into 5 divisions namely; Jalandhar, Patiala, Roopnagar, Ferozepur and Faridkot and every division is headed by the Commissioner. Divisions are divided into Districts, which are headed by the Deputy Commissioners, who also exercises the powers of Collector and Registrar beneath Indian Registration and Stamp Acts. Districts are divided into Sub-Divisions, Tehsils and Sub-Tehsils. Sub Divisions are headed by the Sub Divisional Magistrates and Tehsils square measure headed by Tehsildars and Sub-Tehsils square measure headed by Naib Tehsildars. There are twenty two districts within the State. eighty two Sub-Divisions, eighty two Tehsils and eighty five Sub-Tehsils within the State of punjab.
